We acknowledge the priority of meeting together in-person, worshipping with singing, and sharing life, fellowship and mission, and are committed to provide this opportunity, in all it's various forms, at ABC going forwards now that all restrictions have been lifted.
The clear sense from UK Government and Baptist Union guidance for churches, is that we now need to get on and learn to live with Covid in the background. We have said from the start that we will walk this road with both faith and wisdom, and this should continue to be our guiding principle.
One thing we have learned through this experience is that having a good online presence is essential if we are to remain relevant and engaged in our generation. This period has enabled us to launch into this well, and we should keep the ground we have gained. We aim to do this through a 'Sunday Service Highlights' video, and other video content from time to time, rather than a Livestream broadcast.
The measures set out in our Covid Charter will enable us to gather in-person whilst minimising risks whilst we adjust to the 'new normal' together! Please read before attending services and events at ABC.
Thank you!
